Pintail Partners was in founded in 2015 to acquire value-add commercial properties, primarily in major markets of Texas. With an eye for identifying value and creating opportunities, Pintail-sponsored projects aim to consistently under promise and over deliver.
Principal & Founder
Joe founded Pintail Partners in 2015 focusing on value-add retail and industrials properties that required market repositioning and a little creativity. As a former commercial broker, a heightened sensitivity to leasing assumptions drove Pintail to focus on partnering with highly qualified local brokers that would be carrying out each leasing strategy. To date Pintail has sponsored over 20 acquisitions from Tulsa, Oklahoma down to Harlingen, Texas.
Joe graduated from Auburn University, resides in Richardson, TX with his wife Melanie, their four daughters and a spoiled labrador retriever.

Asset Manager
Tom joined Pintail Partners in 2021, starting as a financial analyst before moving into asset management. He values the opportunity to collaborate with tenants and industry professionals, aiming for shared success through strategic real estate management.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Kelsey, when he’s not focused on his work.

Jeremy Brown
Acquisitions
Jeremy joined Pintail Partners in 2025, where he focuses on the acquisition of industrial properties across Texas. Prior to joining Pintail Partners, Jeremy oversaw the Texas Region for High Street Logistics Properties, leading the firm’s acquisition and development efforts for shallow-bay industrial assets. Earlier in his career, he served as an Asset Manager with both High Street and Colony Industrial, where he was responsible for industrial portfolios across Texas, Colorado, Utah, Florida, and Illinois.
Jeremy graduated from Dallas Baptist University, where he was a member of the hockey team. He now resides in Argyle, Texas with his wife, Megan, and their son.
Hunter Feagin
Analyst
Hunter joined Pintail Partners in October 2025, supporting Tom on the asset management team. Coming from the financial services consulting sector, Hunter brings an analytical mind and a passion for serving clients while building long term relationships.
Hunter resides in Dallas with his wife, Alex. They are both Aggies and love spending time outdoors and traveling.
Mindi Cluff
Assistant
Mindi is the assistant to Joe Berry, the founder of Pintail Partners. With a focus on organization and efficiency, Mindi supports day-to-day operations and reporting accuracy.
When not working, Mindi enjoys spending time with her husband Tyson and their three children.
